Blackout curtains, a luxurious king-sized bed, and the sound of the ocean, make this a great place to sleep. Open the electric curtains from bed to watch the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean, and it’s not a bad place to wake up either.

Has everything you’d hope for. Rain head and hand held shower head, heated towel rail, Dyson hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion.

A generous couch with chaise, dining table, wood fire, and 180° views.

Don’t let the “ette” concern you. Although small, the kitchen is well equipped, with an under-bench fridge, a couple of cooking hobs, pots, pans, utensils, and the all-important coffee grinder and plunger.

It should have all the basics you need to feed and water you both, for the length of your stay. Check out our Eat + Drink section for groceries and eating out.

Please note: there’s no oven, dishwasher, or freezer.

A gas BBQ is located on the rear deck, don’t worry it still has a pretty decent view over Warrington Beach.

The fridge will be stocked with local free-range eggs, butter, bread, juice and milk (do let us know if you are vegan, dairy or gluten free), a selection teas and good coffee, beans, grinder and a plunger are also provided.

This is definitely the best seat in the house. On the front deck, you’ll almost feel like you’re in the Pacific Ocean (only it’s about 30°C warmer). We use a chlorine free spa treatment, and a combination  of magnesium, potassium and ocean trace elements to leave your skin feeling clean and comfortable.

With hot and cold water this is ideal for rinsing off after a trip to the beach.

Designed and custom-made by hand in France, the suspended rotating wood fire has a large vertical window for maximum flame watching. Firewood supplied.

It’s there. But wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t need it.

A painstakingly selected  range of our favourite  local wine and beer is available to purchase at the cabin. As we are showcasing the lower South Island, Pinot Noir features heavily, along with several white options. Beer comes from Emerson’s, an iconic Dunedin brewery, while our bubbles come from the not-so-local Champagne region.
